"Avoid at all cost"
The install was quick, and the work was good. However, when my microinverters stopped reporting, it took 3 months and multiple tech visits to replace the gateway. The system finally worked and reported properly for 4 days. After several troubleshooting attempts, I got a tech to check it, only to be told the system works on their end but doesn’t show on the app. Turns out, Elevation updated their software, and the system now only connects to a 2.4GHz network. I have a dual-channel network that adjusts to device needs, but the tech said my only options are to buy their device to connect to a satellite or get a 2.4GHz router from my internet provider. It feels like they don’t care if I can monitor my system as long as they’re getting paid. I’m paying $200/month for this system while still getting $300 energy bills in summer. I’m furious and completely stuck.
